Val de Vil (the person) was always a big fan of film noir, 1940s black and white old Hollywood glamour and it's dark side. But also big kitsch jewelry.
Combining the two of her favorite things she made herself a pair of bloody meat cleaver earrings, now known as Miss Murder earrings.

After a couple of years of convincing to sell them and a month at the craft desk to perfect the making process, Val de Vil handmade was born.



Now VdV handmade has to offer two classical models - Femme Fatale and Miss Murder.


Femme Fatale are the knives which come in "bloody" and "clean"





Miss Murder are the already mentioned meat cleavers that only come in "bloody"



After those two lines proved successful, a line of brooches bearing the same names (based on the shapes) as the earrings.




We're playing with the idea to introduce a line of necklaces and rings for these two models, and VdV will be introducing a new line of earrings called Retro Sestro (shaped like vinyl records).
But until then, Femme Fatale and Miss Murder remain the highest selling and a Val de Vil handmade classic.
